Shane Kersh is a good friend of mine who works as a motivational speaker and in business development for web-based companies. When Shane is giving his speeches one of the most common questions which he is asked by the audience is whether or not they can make money online. This is also one of the most Googled queries, and despite the amount of money which people do make online, those why aren’t tech savvy don’t believe that they really can do the same. As Shane tells his audience and as I am telling you now, you most certainly can make money online and here are just a couple of ways in which you can make a little bit extra, regardless of whether you know your way around a website back end or not.
Online Surveys
Ever filled in a survey before? I’m sure the answer is yes and you can actually fill out surveys online to make you a little bit of extra cash each month. How this works is that a 3rd party site will offer you these surveys, you fill them in and get paid a different amount for each survey that you complete. These surveys are paid for by corporations and governmental agencies who want to know more about people and demographics for their ideas and their products. Sign up for an account and you could be making $50-100 each month doing this.
Flipping Stuff
A great way to get started in sales is to go out flipping on a weekend at garage sales. Flipping is basically buying a product for cheap and selling it for more than what you paid and garage sales are the perfect place to do it. When people sell stuff in yard or garage sales they just want rid of it and they aren’t really bothered about investing the time in trying to get the most money that they can. All you need to do is rock up to the sale, phone in hand, and take a look on eBay when you see items, to get an idea for how much they are selling for. Once you find a product selling online for more than the yard sale is charging, scoop it up, list it on your account and wait for that sale to come in.
Writing
Creating your own blog can be done without too much expertise thanks to the many services who handle this for you, but this can take time for you to start making some money and does require an understanding of your marketplace, and some hard work. The best bet if you enjoy writing therefore is to do some freelance work and provide content for other website owners and bloggers. There are many freelance sites which you can find online that will put you in touch with those looking for content, simply apply for as many jobs as you can, try to build up a good reputation and you could be writing online for a living!
Everyone can make some money online, you just need to know the right way to go about it.
