accessiBe Launches a National Web Accessibility Television Ad Campaign

Smith · September 27, 2021 · Leave a Comment

AccessiBe, the leading provider of web accessibility testing and remediation services, today announced the launch of its national television ad campaign focused on encouraging website providers to make their sites more accessible. The company plans to air the 60-second spot once a week for six weeks on national broadcast networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and others.

“The ad emphasizes how accessibility is not just good for people with disabilities but also can be better for everyone,” said Michael Hingson, Chief Vision Officer of accessiBe. “We receive a lot of requests for this type of campaign, so when we started talking about it internally, everyone was really excited to see our message reach far and wide.”

“The most difficult part in making these ads was narrowing down the message to what would resonate most with our audiences. However, we are excited about the impact it will have on motivating website providers to make their sites accessible, and we look forward to hearing the positive feedback from viewers.”

What is accessiBe?

accessiBe is an AI-powered service (SaaS) created to enhance the accessibility & usability of any website. Their free WordPress plugin helps connect to our service for easier installation and configuration. As a result, accessiBe sites rank better on Google, increase conversions, and return visitors while maintaining a more professional look.

Why does website accessibility matter?

Accessibility is not just good for people with disabilities but also can be better for everyone. In 2016 alone, it was reported that over 50% of the world’s population has some sort of disability. As technology advances, it is becoming more critical than ever to create websites that are accessible directly from the start, not after they launch or go live.

The Importance of ADA Compliance

ADA compliance is an integral part of our national commitment to civil rights. The Americans with Disabilities Act ensures that people have equal opportunity when they are in public places, including commercial buildings and businesses.

It is estimated that millions of people with disabilities use the internet daily for their personal needs or employment. It’s why it’s so essential for website providers to make their websites accessible so that people can have equal access.
